Aww, thank you! Meh, idk, it’s been left for so long I’m sure most people have lost interest. I’m not promising anything, but I may continue if I get any ideas. Thank you though! :)
Pick any passage of 500 words or less from any fanfic I’ve written, and stick that selection in my ask/fan mail. I will then give you the equivalent of a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what’s going on in the character’s heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you’d expect to find on a DVD commentary track.
Because I promised to prove Jerrie again…
Needs a bit more expanding…

Aww, thank you! :) I haven’t got a clue, sorry! Haven’t updated it in so long, I think it’s sort of died out!
Hahaha thank you! :)
Sorry for giving you so much to read! :P
Aw, thank you! :) Not sure when it’ll be up, I’ll probably start writing tomorrow.
And thanks for letting me know! Seems as though my brain doesn’t function properly past 12am. I’ve fixed that. :)
Jade slowly opened her eyes and blinked several times, rubbing sleep from them as she tried to adjust her eyesight. Rays of sunlight shone brightly through her bedroom window forcing her to squint and sluggishly fumble around her bedside table for her phone. She checked the time on her blackberry and yawned. 2:30pm. ‘Great. At least another 3 hours in bed.’ she thought to herself as she stretched her arms and jumped slightly when she noticed Perrie asleep right next to her. The night before, Perrie had offered to sleep on the sofa downstairs but Jade insisted that she slept in her massive double bed. It could fit at least three people and it would have been silly to let her best friend sleep anywhere else. The older Geordie smiled while she examined Perrie’s diagonal sleeping position. She had sprawled herself across the double bed, leaving barely any room for Jade. Her left leg was hanging over the side, touching the floor, her right stretched over to Jade’s side. Her head was placed right next to Jade’s shoulder as her blue casted right hand rested across her bandmate’s tummy. Jade lay silently in bed, looking around her old bedroom. Everything was exactly how she had left it seven months ago; her songbook on her desk, her teddy bears sitting neatly on top of her wardrobe, pictures of her family and friends, including Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne placed on her windowsill, her old 2011 Cliff Richard calendar on the back of her door- cringe! Being back home distracted Jade from her life back in London. The blackmail, Perrie’s courtcase, leaving Little Mix… Just as she was drifting back off to sleep, she sat up with a start when she heard laughter bellowing from downstairs, which made Perrie wince and withdraw her hand.
“Oww Jadey… Me hand….” She groaned sleepily as she slowly manoeuvred herself in a more comfortable position, still keeping her eye closed.
“Ooh, sorry pet!” Jade yelped as she gently pat Perrie’s cast. “I’m just popping downstairs for a bit, alright?”
“Shh Jade!” Perrie responded waving her left arm in the air.
“Haway, settle down lazy bones!”
“What time is it anyway?”
“It’s quarter to three, want some breakfast?”
“Are you joking? I’ve still got at least another….. Three hours… In be-” Perrie fell back asleep mid sentence and began snoring loudly.
Jade chuckled to herself and slowly got out of bed, trying to not wake Perrie up again and adjusted her pyjama shorts and white vest top before heading downstairs. She followed the sound of laughter to the kitchen to find her brother Karl, and his girlfriend sitting at the table with Norma.
“Well if it isn’t my smelly popstar sister!” Karl jeered from behind his cup of coffee with a smile on his face.
“I’ve been gone seven months and this is how you greet me? Oh how lovely!”
Jade joked as she leaned against the doorframe. “Morning Shireen! Morning Mam!”
“Morning, Jade!” Both women responded with a smile, as Karl’s girlfriend crossed the room to the kettle. “Would you like a cuppa, lovely?”
“Oh yes please! I’d love a cu-“
“Morning?!” Karl interrupted. “It’s quarter to bloody three in the day and this one’s only dragging herself out of bed! Nice hair by the way, smelly!” He laughed.
“I wouldn’t mock me if I were you, poo head! I could just get my security person on you like that!” Jade snapped her fingers and crossed the room to her older brother with a smile on her face. Karl stood up from his chair and pulled his younger sister into a hug, kissing the top of her head.
“I missed ya, kid!” he said as he lifted Jade from the ground.
“I missed you too!” Jade laughed as she squeezed her brother tightly, then begged him to put her down.
“So what’ve you been up to lately?” Karl asked as he sat back down and began sipping his coffee again.
“Just the usual stuff, nothing major, just doing gigs around the country, recording for the album, doing meet and greets, running from the papps!” Jade replied sarcastically. “What’ve you and Shireen been up to since I’ve been gone?” she asked, sitting down at the table as her brother’s girlfriend carefully handed her a cup of tea. “Aw,
thank you!”
“Not much, I was just off being the best daddy in the world!”
“And I was off being the second best mammy in the world! Your mam’s hard to beat!” Shireen added with a smile.
“Aw, no! You’re doing an amazing job!” Norma chuckled. “My grandson’s a fine wee bairn and no doubt he’ll grow up to be just like his daddy!”
“Yeah just as bonny!”.
“Ugh! My nephew can’t grow up having HIS mug!” Jade joked. “Speaking of my nephew, where is he?” she looked around the kitchen but there was no sign of the baby anywhere.
“We left him with Shireen’s sister. We thought seeing your face would upset him and that pong that follows you around would definitely damage him permanently!” Karl flinched as Jade playfully hit his arm.
“Seriously Karl, where is he?!”
“Honestly Jadey! We left him at-“
“Waaaah!”
Jade looked at the door to the living room which was closed over and then back to Karl, scowling.
“He was sleeping…” Karl laughed.
Jade bolted to the door and quietly entered the living room, walking towards the black pram in the middle of it. She peered inside and stared at her new nephew. Jordan was wrapped in a tiny blue blanket, which had his name and his date of birth embroidered onto it. Jade gently moved the blanket away from his mouth and lightly stroked his head with her thumb as she admired his dark curly hair and smiled adoringly at his dimples. Jordan began moving slightly in his pram, cooing. Slowly, he opened his wide eyes revealing warm brown irises. Jade gasped quietly as brown eyes met brown.
“Hi Jordan, I’m you’re auntie Jadey, you have my eyes…” Jade whispered, still gently caressing his soft hair as Karl stood beside her and smiled down at his son.
“Congratulations kid, you’re an auntie! Jordan, meet auntie Jadey, Jade, Jordan!” he said, reaching into the pram and stroking Jordan’s chin.
“He’s beautiful…”
“Takes after his dad!” Karl boasted before Jade gently nudged his arm. “We thought we were going to have a girl. Had all the bows, dresses and name sorted and I’d even painted the room pink and everything. Little Jordie was a surprise, weren’t ya son?!”
“What were you going to call him if he was a girl?” Jade questioned with her arms folded, still staring at Jordan.
“He would’ve been called Jade.”
Jade glanced up to her brother with a look of confusion on her face.
“Jade? After me?”
“No, after Jade Goody. Y’know that one from Big Brother… Yes, after you you muppet!”
“Really? Wow… I don’t know what to say! That really means so much to me.”
“Don’t worry about it, I’m glad he’s a boy now. Jade’s a smelly name anyway…” Karl mocked, messing up Jade’s hair before playfully pushing her. “Do you want to hold him?”
“Are you joking? Of course I do!!”
Jade carefully lifted Jordan from his pram and held him close to her chest as she crossed the living room and sat on the sofa, cradling him.
“D’ya want to give him his bottle? He’s due a feed. Or are you too famous for that kind of work now?”
“Don’t be stupid! Give me the bottle!” Jade laughed.
“Seems like you’re well able for this, Jadey! Hey, want to do me a little favour?”
“Depends… If you want tickets to a gig, then no, you’re paying like everyone else! Perrie wouldn’t even give Jonnie tickets to T-“
“Would you babysit for a few hours? Me and Shireen want to take mam out for a meal. I thought you’d want to stay here with Perrie… Where is she anyway? I haven’t seen her in ages!”
“She’s asleep, wouldn’t want to try to wake her. She’s proper lazy. And yeah, I’d love to watch him for you! Perrie can help when she wakes up. If she wakes up that is!”
“Ah, great! Thanks kid. Now that you’re properly acquainted, we better be heading. I’ll see ya later! Please don’t brainwash him with any Little Mix rubbish while we’re gone, yeah?”
“Rubbish?! Number one selling band, man! And I can’t promise anything, ay Jordan? You’ll be singing all our songs in no time, pet!”
